Pizzo di Vernà : ウィキペディア英語版 | Pizzo di Vernà
Pizzo di Vernà(called also Montagna di Vernà) (1287 m) is a mount of the Peloritani Mountains. It is in the province of Messina, Sicily. It is located in the South Western part of the Peloritani on the territories of Antillo, Casalvecchio Siculo and Fondachelli-Fantina. It is place of excursions because of the typical Mediterranean vegetation and the landscape; from the top it’s possible to observe the volcano Etna, the mount Rocca di Salvatesta, the Ionian coast and the Tyrrhenian coast. An old street surrounds his bottom, segment of the Dorsale dei Peloritani. From Fondachelli-Fantina in the afternoon it's possible to see the Montagna di Vernà shining, hit by the sun. It's Site of Community Importance(SIC).〔http://www.lasiciliainrete.it/natura/normativa/decreto_21_02_2005.htm〕 ==References==
